Patti Brucki, M.A., M.S., has been a high school teacher and coach on Chicago’s south side since 1990.  She comes from a family of 23 teachers and coaches.  As a teacher mentor and national professional developer she has learned, “where focus goes, energy flows.”  She’s been at the game long enough to watch genius talents leave legacies through followed footsteps AND unfortunately, she’s seen career-ending unhealthy habits lead to sickness, imprisonment, and broken relationships. She is on a mission to increase the former and decrease the latter.  Patti and her husband have three children who each enjoyed careers in college athletics.  Her great aunt, Sr. Dorothy Badke, taught for 55 years.
