Workshop Solution:
Leading with Emotional Intelligence
Workshop Description:
Emotional intelligence—not intellectual ability or content knowledge—is the most needed asset across all levels of professional development, from the entry-level administrative assistant to the top-level executive. Emotional intelligence makes us better employees because it makes us more effective human beings. When we invest in developing our emotional quotient, we position ourselves for peak performance across all domains of our life.
Bottom Line:
No matter how our employees know and how much experience they have, if they can’t know and control themselves and understand and connect with others, they will be a liability to the organization.
Key Questions:
Does our corporate culture suggest that our organization is operating at a high level of emotional intelligence? Have we identified specific strategies to increase self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills?
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will understand the core aspects of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Participants will access the results of their personality assessment using the Big 5-EQ Assessment to understand the strengths, weaknesses, blind spots, and fears associated with their personality style.
Participants will develop strategies for self-regulation based on their individual assessment results.
